This is the end of one of the best walks we did last summer. Except for it was 34* and we had walked for twelve hours. For the last four hours we had no water, and were traversing high above the Monetier valley, bashing through small tracks in the trees, and across rubbly, burning scree. It was beautiful, but we were just too hot and scorched. Finally, under the Aiguille de Lauzet, we crossed a raging torrent that was a perfect 11 degrees, and came out of some fissure about 50m above us. Beautiful beautiful spring. We drank buckets of it, and it was far superior to the coke we finally got at the Refuge des Amis below.

Don’t know what in our time was about this morning. The journey from pre descartes to post Kant. Whether god exists. I was left with the overall robust conclusion that thinking like this is a predicate and defining characteristic of being human. It seemed a logical thought on the mancy way anyway.
Well made it to do some bouldering. Was completely brain dead from work and suffering from too many early mornings this week. Am looking forwards to a pint and some space tomorrow.
as a concept is doing my head in. it doesnt seem very intuitive as a way of creating a web site. Maybe you are not supposed to create a website in this way…..
thinking about communications today and how sometimes in business we talk a bit scarily about getting messages across. we need to recognise that communicating is a two way process – a contract where two parties gain something.
